I race in Ontario with the OPBRL. I've also raced in the states with the TSMMR, a few times, and with Quebec Mini-Moto for their finals race in 05. I have raced for a few years now, I will for the rest of my able years, and our oldest member Jan Kandler has shown that pocketbikes can be raced even at 58.

I was checking out your site because I'm from BC, and was curious to see what the scene is looking like out your way.

Amazing how many people went from being a die hard rider to absolutely no interest in the sport what so ever, never to be heard from again. We had as many as 80 people show up to ride when holding race events. Now, your lucky if one other rider besides yourself shows up at F440 race track. Nobody wants to pay the $50.00 drop in rate or the $250 membership at F440. To be honest F440's rate is pretty fair considering the track is sweet. There is no other location to ride in the lower mainland that is better IMO.

If it wasn't for the Vipra forum and a few great island friends, pocket bike racing on the West Coast would be dead and buried.

Special thanks to Vancouver Island members for keeping the sport alive.
